May 29, 2020 Polish Automotive Group was invited to the meeting of the COUNCIL FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP AT THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND. The topic of the meeting was the current situation in the transport and logistics industry, which was discussed in detail by prof. dr hab. Wojciech Paprocki from the Department of Research on Infrastructure and Mobility of the Institute of Transport Infrastructure and Mobility SGH. Then followed the speeches of invited guests. The Polish Automotive Group was represented by President Adam Sikorski, who presented the PGM association and, in our opinion, the most important proposals of actions that could help Polish manufacturers of automotive parts in equal access to the market. President Sikorski discussed in detail the following two ideas:
1) placing the name of the country of production and the manufacturer on the packaging of spare parts for vehicles,
2) facilitating access to the domestic market for Polish manufacturers of spare parts.
The speech of the Polish Automotive Group met with great interest of the members of the Entrepreneurship Council of the President of the Republic of Poland and after the meeting President Sikorski was asked to present our postulates in writing so that the Chancellery of the President could forward them to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Development, Jadwiga Emilewicz.
