On November 27-29, we participated in another project meeting as part of the REC-N-COMP project. This time we visited the beautiful region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia in north-eastern Italy, where we went at the invitation of the Cluster Legno Arredo cluster participating in the project.
During our stay, we had the opportunity to take part in an official design meeting and explore the topics of ecodesign, sustainable development and innovative technologies. We could draw inspiration from local companies such as Crassevig Company and Santalucia Mobili. We visited their production plants, learning about the latest solutions and trends.
We also visited two Innovation Centers: Ecodesign and Sustainable Development in Manzano, and Technology for Furniture and Panels in Brugnera. The innovative solutions used in these centers were very inspiring for the meeting participants.
An unforgettable point of the program was a walk around beautiful Udine – a city full of history that can be felt at every step.
We would like to thank our hosts for the warm welcome and inspiring conversations! It was an amazing experience that further broadened our knowledge and perspective in the area of ecology, recycling and innovation.
The meeting took place as part of the REC-N-COMP project. It aims to support the internationalization of European SMEs in the field of technologies for the production and use of recycled composites.
