On March 2-5, 2020, the Polish Automotive Group took part in the EQUIP AUTO ALGERIA 2020 fair, which is one of the largest automotive events in North Africa devoted to car spare parts and maintenance services.
PGM presented a wide range of automotive parts manufactured in Poland, including filters, batteries and suspension components offered under the common brand “PGM Automotive”. Visitors were also interested in Polish oils, exhaust systems, wiper blades, camshafts and valves.
“We participated in the EQUIP AUTO ALGERIA fair for the first time. Our main goal was to establish relations with importers and distributors of car spare parts from the North African region and we succeeded. Our offer has met with great interest, we have acquired over 50 business contacts, some of which are promising for the future, “said Bartosz Mielecki, Managing Director of the PGM Association.
300 exhibitors from 15 countries took part in the 14th edition of EQUIP AUTO ALGERIA. Due to the situation caused by the coronavirus, the organizers canceled the participation of representatives of over 120 Chinese companies and several companies from Italy and South Korea at the last minute. Also the number of visitors was lower than the assumed 10,000.
The official partner of the Polish Automotive Group during the EQUIP AUTO Fair in Algeria was the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, which supports the activities of the PGM association aimed at promoting Polish automotive companies, both during domestic and foreign events.
