On March 11 another meeting of the members of the Polish Automotive Group took place. According to tradition, it took place at one of the PGM members, this time the host was the LOTOS Oil company, which we thank for the wonderful organization of this event.
To a large extent, the meeting was dominated by the subject of coronavirus. Among other things, the exchange of ideas on how to minimize the effects of this epidemic was very interesting. Recent activities of the association were also discussed, such as the economic mission to Turkey, participation in the Equip Auto trade fair in Algeria or the admission of PGM to the Council of Entrepreneurs at the SME Ombudsman.
The gathered members also had the opportunity to listen to lectures given by representatives of the Industry 4.0 Institute on ideas on how to optimize production processes at low cost and how to introduce modern cobots to production plants.
The association’s plans for the upcoming period were also discussed, including cooperation with the Łukasiewicz Research Network, for the purposes of which PGM will collect technological and innovative challenges from its members, in which 36 Polish research institutes gathered in this network will help. The whole meeting ended with a lecture by the Vector Brokerage House, which raised the topic of insurance claims and claims in the automotive industry and discussed ways to defend against such claims.
