On On October 24-25, 2023, the 13th edition of the Moto Idea Conference took place, organized by our member – EXACT SYSTEMS GROUP, of which we were a partner and in which we participated.
The event is one of the most important meetings in Poland of representatives of the automotive sector: passenger car manufacturers, suppliers of parts and components, the scientific community and representatives of industry associations.
The conference was a multi-faceted event that focused on various aspects of the automotive industry and related challenges and innovations. The first day began with a discussion of the current automotive manufacturing landscape. This part of the conference presented the challenges and opportunities facing the automotive industry. The next block focused on trends and technologies transforming the automotive sector, with an emphasis on innovations and new technologies affecting the industry. This block also presents the results of the MotoBarometer 2023 report.
During the conference, prospects related to electromobility were also discussed, with particular emphasis on the impact of the Chinese battery market on the global market.
The second day brought new topics. Personnel management and HR issues were discussed, focusing on recruitment, employee retention and diversity in teams in the automotive sector. In addition, the issues of partnership between automotive factories and the arms industry were discussed, as well as the topic of specific customer requirements, including automation in production and the activity of companies’ purchasing departments.
It is worth paying attention to the thematic block: Partnership of automotive factories with the arms industry. The moderator of this discussion was Bartosz Mielecki, Managing Director of the Polish Automotive Group.
It was attended by Maciej Borecki, Branch Director, Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. Autosan Branch in Sanok and Piotr Kisiel, acting President of the Management Board, Rosomak S.A.
During the discussion panel “Demystifying the arms industry”, projects that will be implemented for the Polish army were discussed and the importance of treating the arms industry as a potential partner for cooperation was emphasized.
The “Moto Idea” conference was a platform for exchanging ideas, discussing the latest trends and considering the future of the automotive industry and related fields. During the conference, participants had the opportunity to listen to expert presentations and participate in discussion panels that focused on key issues and challenges in the automotive sector.
It is impossible to ignore the distinction received by the managing director of PGM – Bartosz Mielecki, MBA from the organizers of the Moto Idea automotive conference “for a significant contribution to shaping the future of the Polish automotive industry and creating conditions favorable to its development.” Congratulations and we wish you further success!
