The Polish Automotive Group Association, which already brings together dozens of Polish car parts manufacturers from around the country, was established in 2016 in Podkarpacie. The location was not accidental, because the automotive industry in this region is very well developed, and in addition the voivodship authorities recognize the need to support local companies and organizations.
In February this year, the Podkarpackie Province became an official partner of the Polish Automotive Group Association, thus appreciating the fact that PGM obtained the status of a National Key Cluster. The partnership was crowned with a cooperation agreement according to which the Association will promote the Podkarpackie Voivodeship during international trade fairs and industry events that PGM will organize or participate in.

We feel a great commitment from the Marshal of the Voivodship and the Department of Promotion, Tourism and Economic Cooperation of the Podkarpackie Voivodship – says Adam Sikorski, President of the Board of PGM. The choice of the automotive industry as one of the smart specializations of the region translates into great conditions for developing investments here – both for domestic companies and large international concerns, especially in the automotive and aviation industries. The locally developed network of Polish subcontractors provides them with excellent production facilities and support, especially in the era of losing trust in suppliers from distant corners of the world – adds President Sikorski.
Last year, cooperation between PGM and the Podkarpackie Voivodeship resulted in the joint presentation of the modern automotive industry in Podkarpacie at two of the most important national economic events – at the Economic Forum in Krynica and at Congress 590 in Jasionka near Rzeszów, and this year – organizing two international business events – economic mission to Turkey and PGM’s offer presentation at the motor show in Algeria.
