Summary of the General Meeting of PGM Members (26-27.06.2024)

On June 26-27, 2024, the General Meeting of PGM Members took place in Białystok. The event was full of inspiring presentations, valuable discussions and study visits, as well as opportunities for conversations and integration between participants. The hosts of the meeting were AC S.A. and Art-Motor Leszczyńscy, Rutkowscy Sp. Jawna, whom we would like to thank for their hospitality!

 

On the first day, after the official welcome of the participants by the Organizer (PGM) and the hosts, the General Meeting of Members of the PGM Association took place. During the GMS, we discussed our current activities and plans for the future, and we elected new members of the board and the audit committee of PGM.

  • The NEW PGM AUDIT COMMITTEE has been elected, consisting of:

  • The PGM REPORT FOR 2023 has been approved

 

During the meeting, interesting management presentations were held by AC S.A. and ART-MOTOR, as well as other PGM members: NanoSphere, Hiconet and Delix. Triggo presented its innovative solution.”Prospects for the Polish economy, with particular emphasis on the automotive industry, in the context of the current economic and macroeconomic situation in Poland and Europe” – this is the title of the presentation of the special guest of the PGM members’ meeting in Białystok – Mr. Piotr Bujak, Chief Economist and Director of the Economic Analysis Department of PKO Bank Polski. There was no shortage of topics on the automotive expansion of China, the recovery in the Polish economy, KPO, the paradoxes of the Polish labor market, inflation and the National Bank of Poland rates, public finances, exchange rate forecasts and interest rate forecasts. For the third time, we hosted Mr. Bujak at the PGM meeting.

The technological partner of the PGM members’ meeting in Białystok was Supremo.pl. Their presentation “About how Microsoft Copilot can support the development of an organization?” sparked interesting discussions with the participants. We heard and talked about how artificial intelligence in Microsoft365 tools can support the improvement of communication efficiency, time saving and making key decisions.

On the second day of the meeting, the participants visited the production plants of our hosts.

We had the pleasure of visiting the headquarters of our member, AC S.A. in Białystok. AC S.A. is the largest Polish manufacturer of LPG and CNG systems, the owner of the renowned STAG Autogas Systems brand, as well as a manufacturer of electrical harnesses and control systems. The company is a leader in its industry, present in over 60 markets around the world. STAG systems, manufactured in a modern factory in Białystok, are found in approximately 7 million cars on six continents.

Since 2011, AC S.A. has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The company has a modern production plant with an area of ​​25,000 m² and its own Research and Development Center, where work is carried out on prototypes of new products and projects improving production processes and the quality of existing products.

AC S.A. is also one of the largest Polish suppliers of electronics (EMS) and electrical harnesses, primarily for the automotive industry. The company has ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and IATF 16949 certificates, which confirm the highest quality of its products and services.

During the visit, we had the opportunity to visit modern production plants, familiarize ourselves with innovative technological solutions and participate in presentations.

As part of our meeting in Białystok, we also had the pleasure of visiting the company Art-Motor Leszczyńscy, Rutkowscy Sp. Jawna. ART-MOTOR is a renowned manufacturer of spare parts, which since 1983 has specialised in the mechanical processing of metals using modern numerically controlled devices (CNC) and injection moulding of plastics.

The company delivers its high-quality products to customers in Poland and many European countries, such as Italy, Germany, Hungary, Belarus, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Serbia and Austria. The implemented ISO 9001/2015 system is a solid guarantee of the quality of services provided by ART-MOTOR.

During the visit, we had the opportunity to visit the production plant, where we could see high-quality products, and also learn about the history of the plant.
