On September 29, we visited the Opole production plant of the American company POLARIS, where POLARIS quads and INDIAN motorcycles are manufactured.
During the visit, we had the opportunity to visit the production hall with the welding room, paint shop, and assembly room, and we listened to an extremely interesting presentation by Krzysztof Nowoselecki – Lean Manager of POLARIS, regarding the “Real Time Location System (RTLS)” lean project implemented in the Opole plant. This tool allows you to minimize resource losses by using a real picture of the processes taking place in the factory.
