Combating barriers on EU markets automotive industry

What to do to deepen cooperation within the European Union? Available (selected) support instruments for entrepreneurs who face barriers on the EU market were presented today by specialists during a meeting organized by the Ministry of Development, Labor and Technology.

SOLVIT
Each entrepreneur can submit a complaint through the free SOLVIT system, which is used to informally resolve cross-border disputes with the administration of another Member State arising from the incorrect application of EU law. The SOLVIT Poland Center is located in the Department of European Affairs at the Ministry of Development, Labor and Technology.

PETITION TO PE
Each entrepreneur, acting individually or jointly with other entrepreneurs, may at any time exercise his right to submit a petition to the European Parliament.

COMPLAINT TO THE EC
To challenge a national law or the lack of it or any practice of an EU country, if it is considered to be contrary to EU law – you can lodge a complaint with the European Commission.
To do this, it is best to complete the standard complaint form available on the EC website:

PCP
Product Contact Point (PCP) provides entrepreneurs with information about the applicable legislation on goods. PCP is also based in the Department of European Affairs at the Ministry of Development, Labor and Technology.

TRIS
If you think that a draft of technical regulations – notified under the TRIS system – affects the free movement of goods, you can submit a note/ opinion yourself in line to the three-month standstill period. You can also notify us of any objections – in this case, early enough – so that Poland can provide a detailed opinion as part of the technical notification procedure.
