The company UNIMOT Energia i Gaz concluded an agreement with TIP-TOPOL regarding the construction of a photovoltaic installation of AVIA Solar of the capacity 300 kWp, which will be located on the roof of the newly-constructed production hall of TIP-TOPOL.

The cooperation of UNIMOT Energia i Gaz and TIP-TOPOL covers preparation of indispensable documentation, delivery and assembly of the photovoltaic installation of the capacity of 300 kWp (annual production – 305 152 kWh) for own needs of TIP-TOPOL. The photovoltaics will be located on a new production plant of the company. The cooperation will also include a possibility of purchasing the surpluses of the produced energy.

In connection with the constant development of the company and investment plans pertaining to production of membranes we constructed plants that will allow us to render our services for customers in a faster and better manner, and also enter new markets. As a modern company that is concerned with the environment (we hold the ISO 14001 standard), we decided to enter the segment of Renewable Energy Sources (RES). We decided on a Polish, dynamically developing company, and we are fitting the roofs of our new halls with photovoltaic installations of AVIA Solar – says Mr Piotr Borucki, President of the Management Board of TIP-TOPOL.

We are pleased that UNIMOT Energia i Gaz will be involved in the cooperation with TIP-TOPOL, which is the best example of a company that considers in its development strategy environmental aspects, cost optimisation and reduction of carbon footprint in the final product. This installation will allow us to reduce about 250 tonnes of CO2 emission a year – adds Mr Andrzej Moczydłowski, President of the Management Board of UNIMOT Energia i Gaz.

The investment is planned to be carried out in Q4 of 2021.

TIP-TOPOL has been specialising for 30 years in providing car repairers and tyre shops with top quality equipment that comes exclusively from renowned domestic and foreign suppliers. The company is also the largest Polish producer of membranes for trucks and buses. It supplies its products to the aftermarket and OE in 60 countries of the world.
